The inspiration behind Handmade by Handmaid comes from my personal journey and the impact that scriptures , inspirational words and positive affirmations  have had on my life. I have always found solace, strength, and guidance in the verses of scriptures, and I wanted to share that same sense of comfort and inspiration with others. I believe that words have the power to transform lives, to uplift spirits, and to bring hope in times of darkness. I wanted to create a space where these powerful words could be woven into tangible, handmade gifts that would serve as constant reminders of the strength and beauty within us.

I am Kavitha Xavier—the creative mind behind Handmade by Handmaid. A wife, mother of three beautiful kids, and a dream chaser. In pursuit of building a nurturing home, I made the decision to leave my job as an interior designer. However, I never let go of my dream to start a business from the comfort of my own space. With determination, I embraced a few hobbies and gradually transformed them into a flourishing business. Crafting has always been a part of who I am, but my true passion lies in creating meaningful treasures that bring comfort, inspiration, and value to people's lives.
